Brahman represents the infinite reality on which Brahma sits.
The infinite reality is further symbolized by the "Padma" (Lotus) which represents the sum totality of the entire cosmic universe and its phenomena. All individual "pranas" (souls) exist within this supreme "Brahman". Brahman cannot be worshipped to find out what it is. To know Brahman one must meditate upon it. Meditation is a "total" phenomenon. And totality is a deep rooted part of our being waiting to be discovered. |
